At the end of this course you will:

  • Have a basic understanding of herbal dosages for different remedies of varying degrees.

  • Begin to have a vocabulary with which to discus and research herbals more efficiently.

  • Define different herbal extraction options and best practices.

  • Define different types of applications and best practices.

  • Understand modes of biochemical interaction and efficacy of those avenues.

  • Understand the basics for effective dosage strategies for herbals.

About the teacher: Cameron is an herbalist, medicine maker, wildcrafter, and teacher dedicated to educating and empowering people in reclaiming their health through herbal medicine and whole foods. She is the owner and founder of Deep Roots Apotheké & Clinic and has been formally studying herbal medicine for over a decade and has over 4,000 hours of Sciences and Herbal Education under her belt along with 7 years of clinical work and professional foraging, and formulating experience.

Cameron is a graduate of the University of Montevallo (with a Biology Degree), the Southeastern Institute for Traditional Herbal Studies and The Eclectic School of Herbal Medicine with her Clinical Herbal Certification. She has been awarded her FH (Functional Herbalist) and RH (AHG) (Registered Herbalist, American Herbalist Guild) and is also a Certified Aromatherapist.

She is driven to facilitate a deep sense of place, personal empowerment, and self sufficiency by teaching people how to connect to plants and the land. These connections anchor and remind us of our humanness, our lost culture, our part in a wider ecosystem and our need for deep roots culturally, spiritually, and universally.
